Joseph P. Lacher, Jr. currently serves as president and CEO of Kemper. He previously served in several senior executive roles in the insurance industry. Most recently, he was president of Allstate Protection, where he led all of the company’s property and casualty offerings serving more than 17 million American households. Prior to Allstate, Joe spent 18 years at the Travelers Companies ultimately serving as executive vice president of personal lines and select accounts. Joe joined Kemper in November 2015.

John M. Boschelli joined the Company in 1997 and assumed his current position in May 2015 after serving as Vice President and Chief Investment Officer from May 2009 to May 2015. He served as the Company’s Treasurer from February 2002-May 2009 and has held various other positions within the Company since 1997.

Charles T. Brooks joined the Company in 2016 as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer and assumed his current position in March 2017. He previously served as Global Operations and Technology Officer for ACE Limited (now Chubb), Senior Vice President/Head, Member and Plan Sponsor Services for Aetna, and Senior Vice President, Operations and Chief Information Officer, Personal Lines for Travelers, and as Partner, Financial Services-Insurance Practice at Accenture.

Bradley T. Camden joined the Company in 2020 and was named Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in February 2024. Prior to that, he served as the Company's Senior Vice President, Treasurer and Interim Chief Financial Officer. He spent 20 years with Northern Trust Asset Management and, most recently, led its Long Duration Fixed Income Team, managing approximately $180 billion in fixed income assets.

C. Thomas Evans, Jr. joined the Company in 1992, assumed his current position in May 2015 and has served in several leadership roles for the Company. Previously, he was in private practice with the law firm of Winston & Strawn, focusing on corporate and commercial litigation before joining the Company in 1992.

Christopher W. Flint joined the Company in 2023 with more than 25 years of experience in the financial services and insurance industries. He previously held senior leadership roles at Securities America, Lincoln Financial, Protective Life, Farmers New World Life and USAA (Protection Solutions Life Company).

Matthew A. Hunton joined the Company in 2019 and assumed his current position in November 2022. He spent more than 10 years at Travelers where he led the Select/Small Commercial business, as well as Product Management, Operations and Technology organizations across personal and business insurance sectors.

Laura A. Rock joined the Company in 2024 with more than 30 years of experience in the human resources field. Before joining the Company, she was the Chief Human Resources Officer at Zurich North America. Prior to her role at Zurich, Laura served in various human resources leadership positions at Zurich/Farmers and AIG.

Duane A. Sanders joined the Company in 2018 as Executive Vice President and President, P&C, and assumed his current position in 2024. He spent 16 years at Travelers in senior leadership roles, including as CEO and COO of Travelers Canada. He also held various senior leadership positions at Mobile America Insurance Group.
