CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--
Kemper Corporation (NYSE: KMPR)
announced today that Kan Yuk “Andy” Lau will join the company on July
24, 2017 as Senior Vice President and Chief Data & Analytics Officer.
Lau will report directly to Joseph P. Lacher, Jr., Kemper’s President
and Chief Executive Officer. This new role will further position the
company for long term success.
Most recently, Lau served as Vice President, Analytics for CNA Insurance
Company’s Enterprise Data and Analytics. Prior to joining CNA Insurance
Company, Lau was Vice President and Product Manager for Liberty
International’s Great Britain Operations in London, England. In
addition, Lau worked for the Regional Companies Group at Liberty Mutual
and The Hartford Financial Services Group, where he worked in several
consumer and commercial research and product leadership positions.
Earlier in his career, Lau served in actuarial, research and development
roles for Allstate Insurance Company.

Lau earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics at the
University of Hong Kong. He earned his Master of Science degree in
Mathematics from Ohio State University.
